Luna is an excellent example of the what a working female American Bulldog should be. She has a good balance of drives with very high bite drive. She does well under all types of pressure from the decoy including environmental and social pressure. She is very trainable and appropriately handler sensitive in obedience. She is very clean breathing and works well in all temperatures. She has nice hard entries. Luna competes in both Mondio Ring and French ring but took some time off in 2010 to have our "E" litter. She is second female American Bulldog to ever earn a MR brevet. In 2011 with just 3 weeks of training for agility she competed in the UKC Gateway Nationals earning her United Agility 1 title with 4 qualifying runs. She also competed in UKC Rally earning her URO1 in 3 straight trials with scores of 100, 100 and 97 all first place wins and one High in Trial over 83 other dogs! She has two legs towards her UCD with a 191.5 and a 189.5.
She has beautiful structural conformation with absolutely superb movement. She has a scissor bite with good sized teeth. She quickly received her UKC CH and GRCH and has done very well in the Guardian Group ring. She has also done well in the NKC ring and is just one win away from becoming an NKC CH. At the last NKC specialty show in November of 2009 she took Best Standard female but lost Best in Show to her 3/4 brother Ajax.
Luna is very social with people and absolutely adores children. With dogs she is a dominant female and does not do well with other dominant females but she gets along fine with males and non dominant females. She loves water. In the house she is mellow and easy going.
