Puppies will be sold in order of pick; which means the first deposit we receive will have first pick male or female.  However, as the breeder we reserve the right to refuse the sell of puppies to homes that may not be suited for that particular puppy's temperament.  We are breeding for working (protection sport, obedience, agility) dogs and thus often have high drive, extremely active puppies.  While it is not our goal, we will have pet quality puppies in every breeding.  Pet quality puppies are puppies that will be better suited for the home environment (i.e. lower energy level, etc.).  Our working puppies will drive the average family crazy because of their extremely high drive.  They are even more destructive and hard headed then the average puppy and thus are not suited for pet life.  These types of high drive dogs excel in homes where they will have a job thus these are working quality puppies.  It is our responsibility as a breeder to ensure that we are best matching puppies to the homes where they will eventually live.   Pet quality in no way implies that the puppy will not be suited for the conformation ring.

Many breeders will let you pick your puppy as soon as they are born (or sometime before six weeks of age).  Usually the picks are based on color, size, etc., with little regard to the puppy's overall temperament.  When we breed a litter of puppies we put hours of time into raising the litter and we know each puppy's individual temperament.  We keep notes of the each puppy's development and progress.  At seven weeks of age we have an independent tester come in to test the litter.  The tester will look for things such as sociability, willingness to work with and for a person, prey drive, food drive and confidence.  The results of the temperament test along with the notes that we have kept since birth will help to guide our puppy buyers to the puppy that will best suit their needs.

If you are interested in one of our upcoming breedings please feel free to email us.  We will keep a list of parties that are interested in a particular litter and will start excepting deposits when the puppy's are born.  Our litters sell out quickly and we usually have a waiting list for our upcoming litters.

We are very excited to announce our "H" litter, a line breeding on one of our favorite female American Bulldogs of all time: Tory Hesta.  This breeding should produce large, big boned traditional hybrid American Bulldogs.

At nine years old Iggy is still a true powerhouse of a bulldog.  In working condition he weighs in at a solid 98lbs but he is incredibly fast and agile.  He has won multiple hardest hitting competitions and was known as the dog that could take decoys out.  He has been clocked in a sprint race at an incredible 27mph!  He has a very powerful, naturally deep bite and can take insane amounts of pressure in the bite work.  In the conformation ring he has won two Best in Show Standards in ABA and is only a few points shy of an ABA Championship.  He is also major pointed in UKC and NKC.    At home he is a gentle giant, letting his owners grand daughter climb all over him and even paint his face.

Iggy in Action

Luna is an incredible working female.  Her record pretty much speaks for itself with titles in working/performance events and in conformation.  In working condition she is a solid 72 lbs.  She has incredibly fast entries and a great presence.  In the bitework she can take a ton of pressure from the decoy but is very compliant in obedience.  She is a very high drive female that has a nice blend of fight in her work.  She titled in agility with less then three weeks of training under her belt.  She is environmentally stable and extremely social.  She is very athletic and can easily jump a 2 meter palisade.  In the conformation ring she finished her UKC CH in four straight shows and moved onto her GRCH with ease.  She needs one more major to finish her NKC Championship.   She has multiple group placemetns in the UKC ring and a Reserve Best in Speciality show in the NKC ring.
Malo: 23” 79-82lbs in working condition PH .39/.52 NCL Clear
Pink:  20” 60-62 lbs in working condition OFA Good

Pink – Very athletic and graceful, fast as hell, excellent heat tolerance.  She has big teeth, lots of muscle, good structure.  On the smaller side but a good size for a performance dog.  Proportionally long muzzle, okay pigment, good overall structure.  She is very smart and easy to train, willing to try anything.  Good prey drive, very high ball drive, crazy food drive.  Works well for a tug, ball or food in obedience.  She has some difficulty capping drive – more of an external dog.  At agility events I need to keep her doing ob off to the side before we go on the course or she gets too wacko and has a hard time with impulse control. Not handler sensitive but not handler hard either.  She is into her handler but not clingy – definitely has an independent side.  She is generally indifferent with other people but can be social if prompted.  She has been everywhere with me from my work, to humane education events, to busy airports, crazy dog events, busy CA state fair and various county fairs (with all the crazy sights, sounds and smells)  - environmentally stable.  Can be dog aggressive with unfamiliar dogs but has been easily managed with training; in UKC ob she does a 3 minute sit stay with handler out of site with other dogs 3’ away on either side.  I do have to watch her more closely when in drive. She likes most cats as long as they are dog savvy.  In the house she is pretty easy to manage, typical bulldog lazy.

Malo – Very powerful, athletic but not very graceful (he jumps without ever thinking about the landing which is how he got injured).  Lots of muscle, big bulldog head, small bulldog teeth, compact body. Medium bone, good rear angulation. He has a shorter muzzle than I would prefer but he tends to throw longer muzzles especially when bred to more standard bitches.   He has extremely deep hard bites. Many decoys have had to switch to thicker suits or heavy heavy gauntlets when working him. He will work through anything. He has no problems with any environmental distractions of any kind. He is super stable and very social with people. Non dog aggressive.  In obedience he is able to sustain high levels of drive for long periods of time without outside stimuli, and he has incredible bite drive; he bites because he loves to bite not because he wants to possess the equipment. In the house he is the complete opposite, most people that meet him on the training field first are absolutely shocked that it is the same dog in the house. He is a couch potato that loves everyone he meets. He can be a little over the top at times for a high level competition dog; if a decoy really brings it the likelihood that he is going to "out" drops significantly. It has taken a lot of work on Marcel's part to really get him to think in drive, he tends to go balls out and forget about everything else.
